If you’re at all serious about internet marketing, then you need to find a good CRM software or company, better known as the Customer Relationship Management. CRM is the best way to stay in constant contact with your readership or audience, and there are some of them that are better than others. While we would love to bring you a full review of all of the best CRMs out there, we will leave that to the PROs:
What we will tell you about though is all of the reasons that you should be using the CRM if you aren’t, and why they can help you truly connect with your customers. The number 1 reason that you want to be using these things is what we just mentioned: you can connect with your audience!
If you are running a blog, then you will want to set up your customer relationship management platform to ensure that you can stay connected with your readers even after they leave your site. The best way to target these folks is by having some type of call to auction, or even a sidebar widget that they can sign up for your mailing list. Most folks aren’t going to want to just sign up for a mailing list though, so you will want to come up with some type of clever way to get them to want to sign up for your list.
Now of course signing up for your list is very important, but this is where a high quality CRM comes in handy – once you have a decent list put together, you will want an easy way to stay engaged with them. After they sign up, the CRM does the rest. You set it up however you decide you want to engage with them, but basically you’re going to decide how often you want to deliver emails, and exactly what you want them to say. The best way to keep your list thriving and high quality is by offering content that is worthwhile, and provides something of value to your audience. If they feel that you are giving them high quality content, then they will want to read your emails when they see them in the inbox, rather than automatically hitting the delete button.
If you are a clever person, and have a lot of motivation, then you can probably generate the content yourself, but if you want to make things easy on yourself, then you can also outsource it. Just make sure that the emails that you are sending out are well written and offer something of value to your reader base. If you are hoping to make a sale from your list from time to time, then decide when and how you want to sprinkle your pitch in. If all you ever do is hit the list up with sales pitches, then they are be super quick to hit the unsubscribe button, which isn’t good for anyone.
No matter what route you decide to go, just know that the CRM should be a vital part of your internet marketing plan, if you hope to find success!
